Lauki with milk

Ingredients

  • 1 medium size lauki (bottle gourd), peeled & sliced
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup milk

Method

  • Cut the lauki and soak in water
  • Add Ghee & oil in a pan
  • When hot, add the green chillies & cumin seeds
  • When they pop add the lauki and cook.
  • When half way cooked,  add peas + salt + a pinch of sugar + cumin powder
  • When water has dried out add the milk.
  • When veggies are tender garnish with coriander leaves
